GARETH Gardiner scored a hat-trick as Elton Vale claimed their first win of the season at local rivals Westbury Sports Club on Saturday.
Dominic Porter gave the visitors an early lead and Gardiner tucked away a rebound to double Vale's advantage.
Ben Smith pulled a deserved goal back for Westtbury and Jack Martin equalised.
Vale regained the lead following Reece Haworth's left-footed shot before the break and Gardiner added another trademark goal.
James Clifton scored Westbury's third and Haworth was sent off for Vale. Gardiner made sure of the points, volleying home his third of the game, as Vale moved up to eighth in Manchester League Division One.
