WALSHAW’S winless start to their campaign in the Manchester League Premier Division continued as they conceded two late goals in a 5-3 defeat at home to AVRO.
Connor Gateley put them ahead on 30 minutes on his return from injury, but Avro struck back just before the break.
They then went ahead on 55 minutes following a contentious penalty decision and struck a third on the hour.
Walshaw roared back with goals from Adam Latham and Russ Brierley.
And opposition goalkeeper Jake Edwards made two brilliant saves to keep them level before Rico Stewart scored two late goals to win it for AVRO.
Walshaw are second from bottom in the table with two points from their seven games.
