SATURDAY'S FA Cup game between Prestwich Heys and Radcliffe FC is being televised live by the BBC.

The channel are to stream the derby game on the BBC Sport website, app and iPlayer.

With viewers all over the country able to watch the game it makes the preliminary round tie at Adie Moran Park, Sandgate Road, Whitefield, a big occasion for the two local non-league clubs.

A game from every stage of this season's FA Cup will be live-streamed across BBC Sport's digital platforms. Audiences will be able to watch the game live on PC, mobile or connected TV. Matches will also be available live and on-demand on BBC iPlayer.

The game will kick off at 12.30pm and brings together two sides who have not met in competitive football since competing in the Cheshire League in May 1982.

Radcliffe manager Jon Macken, whose side have won their opening two matches in Evo-Stik West, said: "It’s a good experience for the football club to put us on the map and I’m sure it’s been a while since we’ve had that.

"The FA Cup is a great occasion and being on the TV is an added bonus.

"We’re looking forward to it.

"It’s another game we’re going into to win, like every other game this season."

Heys, who play in the Hallmark Security League First Division North – two divisions below Radcliffe – are in the FA Cup for the first time since 1983.

They defeated Abbey Hey 2-1 in the extra preliminary round two weeks ago.
