ALISON LOMAX Alison passed away peacefully at North Manchester Hospital on Sunday, 24th September 2017, after a short and bravely fought illness. You tried so hard to overcome your pain, you never complained but God still took you from us to rest in peace. My darling you will never be forgotten, you were the light of my life, you brightened my days and were just always there. Loving wife of forty seven years, soul mate and best friend of husband Rod, sister of Roger, sister-in-law of Margaret, aunt to Peter, Bart and David. Cousin of Caroline, Marlene, Christopher and Richard. Godparent to John. Caring friend to many, many others who have been so very kind in this unbelievingly sad and unexpected loss. Funeral service will take place at East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe on Monday 16th October at 2.30pm. Donations in Alison's memory should please be made payable to the Donkey Sanctuary (of which she was a patron) or Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
