BURY celebrated International Women's Day in style when 150 guests enjoyed entertainment, food, presentations and speeches to mark the special occasion.
The event, organised by Bury Asian Women's Centre, was held at the Polish Social Centre in Back East Street.
The celebrations got under way with speeches from Bury mayor, Cllr Michelle Wiseman, and chairman of the Bury Asian Women's Centre, Farzana Ali.
Those attending were able to browse around numerous stalls while enjoying Bollywood-style dancing, a folk singer, various presentations, pampering plus refreshments and food.
