A TEENAGER who crashed a car into a parked vehicle has been banned from driving for three years.
Ryan Cooper, aged 19, of Walnut Avenue, Bury, took a Ford Focus without the owner's consent and drove it through Bury on June 5.
He drove it along Gladstone Street and collided with a parked Toyota Avensis, damaging it and then drove off.
Mr Cooper previously appeared before Bury magistrates and admitted driving without a licence or insurance, taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and failing to stop at the scene of a crash.
At a further hearing last Friday, Cooper was ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work and pay fines and court costs totalling £240, in addition to the driving ban.
He was also made subject of a community order.
