HUNDREDS of visitors flocked to the Village Hotel to support the Big Bury Business Expo.

The event featured more than 50 exhibitors and fundraising activities, as well as a pop-up art gallery.

The Big Bury Business Expo, organised by thebestofbury, is the borough’s longest running business exhibition, offering a relaxed and informal environment to network, build relationships and exchange referrals.

This year’s event was different to previous years as it was home to a pop-up art gallery, showcasing work from E Anthony Orme, whose gallery is based in Stand Lane, Radcliffe. It included paintings, prints and mugs featuring landscapes from the artist’s travels.

Donations from local businesses also resulted in more than £500 being raised for The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour charity.

The next Big Bury Business Expo will take place on March 17, 2016.
