A MAN was left with a serious injury to his nose after he was attacked while walking through a crowded Bury pub.
Police have released the image of a man they want to speak to following the incident, which occurred at Molloy’s in Silver Street.
At around 10.45pm on Saturday, November 21 2015, a 47-year-old man was making his way through the bar area towards the toilet when he was punched a number of times by a man.
The offender was restrained by a number of customers and was eventually ejected by door staff.
Detective Constable Gordon Milne said: “It seems the victim was attacked because someone took offence at him trying to squeeze by people in a very busy pub.
“The attack left him with a nasty injury to his nose and he is just about recovering from the ordeal.
“We believe there would have been a number of people inside the pub who witnessed the assault and we are keen to hear from you. I would also ask anyone who may recognise the man in the image to contact us.”
Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 8153 or the Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
