SUPERJOSH founder Dawn Fidler brings you her latest blog

ON SUNDAY and Monday of this week we were pleased to have a stand at the IIC Show at Manchester Central.

It was a great way to kick start the week, meeting lots of new businesses and contacts with some very exciting new opportunities on the horizon!

This week thebestof Business Of the Year Awards 2016 were announced and we are delighted that Josh’s charity won the charity category for the UK.

We also came 32nd in the overall 100 national award. Thank you so much to everyone who left a review — it's so amazing reading all your feedback on our work.

I’d also like to congratulate the team at Barista in Bury who came first nationally — that is a huge achievement and is very well deserved.

We are also very proud to have been chosen as the charity for the third Prestwich Beer Festival which is coming soon — February 25 to 27.

It looks set to be another amazing event with a VIP line-up that include Damon Gough (aka Badly Drawn Boy) and comedian John Gordillo to name a couple.

On February 26, there will be a band night and cocktail masterclass, and on February 27, there will be an authentic Oompah band and pop up nightclub!

There are going to be more than 100 different cask beers, lagers and ciders as well as wine and an artisan gin and fizz bar, sponsored by Jennie Platt.

Tickets are available for tables but hurry before they all go — this is always a popular event. Donations for raffle prizes are also being sought — with all proceeds coming to SuperJosh! We hope to see you there!
