FIRSTLY, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended the Excel-a-rate golf day for Josh at Whitefield Golf Club.

Despite the rain making it a tough day to play the managing director, Dave Ballan and his teams of fellow golfers helped raise a massive £5,000 for Josh's charity.

This is going to make a huge difference helping our families with financial help and support at a crucial time when they need it most.

Our ladies lunch last Friday at The Village Hotel was a fantastic afternoon and together we raised £1,468.

This money is going to help provide a safe garden for a local 11-year-old boy who has become visually impaired as a result of a brain tumour.

Thank you to everyone who came, took part and contributed to the event — it really does mean so much.

On Saturday, we were treated to a special evening at Grönn, Bury's first luxury boutique eco-friendly salon.

Owner Rachael Kennedy held an Evening with SuperJosh and thanks to the hard work of her good friend, Rebecca Walsh, served five courses of delicious vegan food to the lucky 20 guests.

It was an honour to be invited and to have the opportunity to talk to everyone about my amazing boy and his charity helping so many others.

Big thanks to Rachael and everyone who attended, they have raised £270 which will fund a hospital expenses grant for one of our families.

Another special thank you this week goes to Carrie Leach, of Rehabilitation for Independence and all of her friends and family who helped raise £570 for Josh at her 40th birthday party!

Thanks to you all, we will now be able to hold some extra support sessions, helping families at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

This Sunday, the team at Starbucks in the Village Hotel Bury is holding a SuperJosh day.

We will be there between 10am and 2pm with our SJ merchandise and goodies, pop down for a coffee, cake and say hello.

Finally, as part of my turning 40 and my 14 Challenges for Josh, I'm taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks this Thursday. I'm really hoping that my TrekFest training will pay off and it won't be as tough as I fear. Regardless, I know Josh will be with me pushing me on and most probably laughing at his mum!
