A ROW of 18 new homes – including nine affordable properties – could be on the market as soon as next spring.
A planning application submitted by Lancet Homes, seeks to adapt existing outline permission, which was granted for the site in January.
The new application looks to build a smaller number of houses on the site.
A decision about the houses is expected to be made in October by Bury Council’s planning department and, if approved, they are expected to be on the market by spring 2018.
Carolyn Walsh, sales manager at Lancet Homes said: “Lancet Homes is one of the leading family-run and privately-owned house builders in the North West with extensive experience in the residential property sector and construction industry.
“With the backing of the Brookhouse Group, a nationwide developer whose origins can be traced back to the 1930s.
“We are really excited about our upcoming project at Geoffrey Street in Bury where we will be creating 18 two-bedroom homes, which will be aimed at people looking to get on to the
housing ladder for the first time.
“There will be an opportunity to bespoke each home with kitchen and tiling choices and all homes will have a 10 year LABC new home warranty.”
Affordable starter homes are aimed at first time buyers between the ages of 23 and 40 and are available for at least 20 per cent below the market value.
People wishing to register their interest can do so now with Lancet Homes on 0161 969 4919.
