A CHOCOLATE lover has landed her dream job.
Former Bury College catering student Rebecca McDonald, aged 20, from Radcliffe, began working at Slattery Patisserie and Chocolatier in Whitefield during her studies, where she discovered a real passion for the art.
After completing diplomas in professional cookery and professional patisserie and confectionary, Rebecca was given a full time position at Slattery.
Her responsibilities include creating an exciting range of desserts, trialling and tasting new desserts to add to the menu.
Rebecca said: “I am really enjoying working within the catering industry. I started working at Slattery during my studies at Bury College and once I completed my course I was awarded a full-time contract. It is great to be doing what I love and what I trained to do.”
