THE date of the second annual Bury Pride event has been announced.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2018, and will feature a parade through the town’s streets and entertainment at the Elizabethan Suite, in the Town Hall.
Bury Pride will celebrate equality and diversity in the borough and will come to the town centre next year.
A variety of talks will take place in the town hall, between 11am and 6pm, with the parade beginning at Kay Gardens, going on a tour of the town centre before finishing at the town hall.
The parade this year will be arranged by the Proud of Gayness group who are a handful of LGBT+ youth ranging from 14 to19 year olds.
More information on the event will be rolled out across the next few weeks.
