BURY Council have announced a number of temporary road closures while Remembrance Day parades take place across the borough on Sunday.
Events will take place across the town in tribute to those who gave their lives for their country.
The streets immediately around Bury Parish Church will be closed between 10am and 2pm.
The Bury branch of the Royal British Legion has organised a parade and Remembrance service at the church.
In Ramsbottom, Bridge Street, near St Paul’s Church, will be closed between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
In Radcliffe town centre, streets around St Thomas and St John Church, where a service is to be held, will be closed from 10.45am to 12.45pm.
There will also be closures around Tottington St Anne’s Church from 2pm and 4pm and around the Walshaw Cross memorial from 10.45am to 11.05am
