HEAD for the Hills has joined the fight against gender inequality in the music industry.
The Ramsbottom music festival has partnered up with the PRS Foundation's Keychange pledge joining dozens of other events around the world in pledging to maintaining a 50/50 gender balance across their events by 2022.
David Agnew, Festival Director, Head For The Hills comments: "Head For The Hills is proud to join the Keychange pledge recognising the value of a diverse programme in exciting audiences and improving our festival. Our commitment to creating a welcoming and open environment permeates the organisation from our trustees to our audiences, which is only possible with a programme which reflects our immediate communities."
Head for the Hills returns to Ramsbottom Cricket Club on September 14, 15 and 16, with headliners The Boomtown Rats, The Bluetones, The Beat and the Selector.
