CONGRATULATIONS to the following on their recent sporting achievements: The GIRLS SWIMMING team, who competed in the National Championships at Sheffield, and finished 6th and 8th in the team Freestyle and Medley events.
The GIRLS VOLLEYBALL team, who won the British Colleges N.W. Regional Cup competition in Preston last week without dropping a set.
The GIRLS HOCKEY players (Sian Godwyn, Laura Evans) who have been selected for the British Colleges team to tour Canada in July.
The TRAMPOLINING team members (Siobhan Bromby, Sophie Smith, Hollie Taylor and Jack Mottram), who have qualified for the National Finals of the British Colleges competition at Loughborough University in April.
RESULTS In the North West Colleges league matches at Cardinal Newman College, Preston we won the boys football 1-0 (firsts), 4-1 (seconds), won the Hockey 8-2 and lost the netball 76-26.
The girls football team won their league match at Accrington College 8-0.
