A nursery in Bury has been thanked by King Charles and the Queen Consort Camilla after youngsters and staff celebrated them being crowned this year.
A letter from children at Educare For Early Years Bury on Bolholt Industrial Park, Walshaw Road, was sent to the royal couple ahead of the event on May 6.
And after marking the coronation with a week of celebrations, the royals showed their appreciation by responding with a letter thanking the nursery for its efforts.
The letter, signed by King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, said: "We were deeply touched by your most kind and thoughtful message following our coronation.
"We are enormously grateful to everyone who took part in the celebration, and particularly appreciate that you so generously took the time to write to us on this very special occasion."
The nursery provided a range of activities for the children leading up to the coronation, educating them about their new monarch.
Nursery manager Becky Barker said: “When it was the coronation, we did a week of celebrations and the children made him a card and we sent it to Buckingham Palace.
“Then, we had this lovely the envelope through the post and our card. So we were very excited.”
Becky added: “The children were mesmerized by this lovely card and we’ve been talking all about the King.”
