Speed check operations have been stepped up in Bury following concerns over traffic offences.
The main areas of concerns where checks were carried out include Helmshore Road, Peel Brow, Ramsbottom, Croft Lane, and two locations in Walmersley Road.
Special police constables carried out the speed enforcement yesterday (Friday February 2).
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, Bury North said: "Your Bury special constables carried out speed checks and enforcement today at key locations across the district where local concerns have been raised, including these roads/lanes: Helmshore Road, Peel Brow, Ramsbottom, Croft Lane, and two locations in Walmersley Road.”

It comes as Bury North police increased officers on Radcliffe Road and other parts of the borough after residents also raised concerns.
Following the checks police caught a driver allegedly driving at 42mph in a 30mph zone.
Officers from GMP Bury North carried out patrols across the town to target traffic offences, including speeding, insurance and vehicles' roadworthiness.
Police have encouraged people to come forward with any issues.
