An accountancy and law firm have come together for the second year running to launch an event discussing “real issues businesses are facing".

The seminar will be hosted by Bury-based accountants PM+M together with borough law firm Clough & Willis at the Red Hall Hotel in Walmersley.

Subjects will range from employment law to tax issues, with speakers including PM+M payroll director Julie Mason, tax manager Julie Walsh and Clough & Willis partner Chris Macwilliam.

Ms Mason said: “I am excited that we are once again collaborating on this event with Clough & Willis, especially as we have worked hard to curate the content so it reflects the real issues that businesses are facing.

The companies say that guests will learn about the recent changes to National Insurance, hybrid and home working, global mobility and holiday pay.

They will also learn about national minimum wage, salary sacrifice, auto enrolment pensions and IR35.

Mr Macwilliam said: “After the runaway success of last year’s event, we are delighted to be back again.
