Bury Transport Museum, 1982
Something old and something slightly newer on display at Bury Transport Museum when this photo was taken in 1982.
In the foreground, a relatively modern diesel locomotive while getting up to full steam in the background an engine from an earlier era. According to the caption on the picture is was an 0-6-0 T engine.
No doubt railway enthusiasts will be able to tell us if the photographer got that right at the time.
