An appeal for CCTV and doorbell camera footage has been launched after a burglary.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say the break-in happened on Sheepfoot Lane in Prestwich on Sunday at around 1.35am. 

CCTV images show a man approaching the property from the direction of Bury Old Road wearing a puffer coat, tracksuit bottoms and dark trainers. 

Officers say the man then left towards Middleton Road.

GMP has issued an appeal to residents of Sheepfoot Lane for CCTV footage from between 1.15am and 1.45am that morning.

A spokesperson for GMP Bury South said: "On Sunday, March 24 at approximately 01:35 a burglary occurred in the Sheepfoot Lane area of Prestwich.

"CCTV enquiries show a lone male wearing a puffer style coat with his hood up, light coloured tracksuit bottoms and dark trainers approach the property from the general direction of Bury Old Road and then making off towards Middleton Road.

"Bury's neighbourhood crime team would like to ask residents of Sheepfoot Lane to check their CCTV and Ring doorbell cameras between 1.15am and 1.45am on March 24 to see if any suspicious activity is captured.
