BURY’S world famous market has been crowned Market Of The Year 2009 — best markets attraction.
The top accolade was won at the prestigious National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA ) Awards.
Hundreds of national market operators attended the event in Birmingham and the award was fiercely contested.
Bury markets and business services manager John Ayres picked up the award on behalf of the 200 stallholders.
