I QUITE agree with the letter by J Fearon (August 21).
We have an MP Ivan Lewis advising the Scottish Government that it is right to release a murderer to Libya; our own councillors refusing to settle equal pay claims, having spent £600,000 of taxpayers’ money, losing a court case and now intending to appeal against judgement, thus spending more money.
Now to cap it all they intend to spend £11,000 refurbishing executive offices in the town hall.
The same executives who threatened job losses because of the claim.
