An expensive watch and cash was stolen during a robbery in Prestwich.
Shortly after 5pm on Saturday, three men armed with hammers went into a shop on Bury New Road and demanded cash.
They stole cash, a Rolex watch and a dress before driving off in a gold Mini.
The car was later found burnt out on Whit Lane, Lower Broughton.
The offenders are described as being of slim build, in their late teens and wearing balaclavas.
Detective Constable Andrew Pidd, of Rochdale CID, said: “These men were armed and have stolen cash and an extremely valuable watch.
“If anyone has any information about those involved or has been approached with a view to buying the watch please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Bury CID on 0161 856 8248, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
