VIDEO footage of a massive brawl in Bury between football hooligans has been condemned after it was uploaded to the video-sharing website YouTube.

Eight men were sentenced earlier this month for their part in the violent disorder, which broke out in Yates’s in Market Street last November, involving fans from Bury, Bolton and Manchester City.

Now, the CCTV footage of the fight has been set to music and uploaded to the internet.

The video shows violence breaking out at the entrance to the pub as rival fans push, shove, punch and kick each other in a stand-off by the front door.

It then shows the fight continuing inside, as the yobs punch each other in the face, throw chairs at each other and, in one instance, stamp on someone’s head.

Drinkers who were enjoying an afternoon in the pub, including families with children, watched in horror as the violence unfolded in front of them.

The video is accompanied by the upbeat “Don’t Look Back Into the Sun” by The Libertines.

The violence was condemned by former Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association spokesman Dave Blackburn.

He said: “This kind of thing has no place in football today, and these kind of people aren’t welcome.

“Putting it on the internet and setting it to music doesn’t help anyone either.

These people are just trying to glorify hooliganism.”

The video has already been viewed more than 1,150 times after being uploaded last Wednesday.

It was uploaded by a user known as eliteborg, who has uploaded 56 videos, all showing football hooligans fighting.
