Cannabis worth an estimated £250,000 has been seized in Bury.
Officers from the drug unit executed a warrant at an address on Raymond Avenue at around 7.30pm last Thursday.
Once inside, police found 1,000 cannabis plants.
No one has been arrested and inquiries are ongoing.
Detective Inspector John Mazzolai from Bury CID said: “Thanks to information we received from the public, we were able to prevent a significant amount of cannabis hitting the streets and causing misery in the community.
“It is vital we continue to receive information from residents as it helps in our continuous fight against drug dealers. As this seizure shows, we will take positive action.”
Anyone with information about drugs in their area should phone the new non-emergency number, 101, or contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
