I read with interest about the shortfall of £392,000 for the regeneration of Pimhole.
Why was £1,240,000 spent on doing Rochdale Road and Heywood Street up first?
We know don't we? It is to make Bury look nice when strangers are coming into the town.
Why was £330,000 spent doing parts of the backs of Heywood Street up and how can £122,000 be justified for a public inquiry? All comments on this should be addressed to the Pimhole Residents Association meeting, which will be held on the first Monday in November at the Ukrainian Social Club in Openshaw Street, Bury at 8pm.
Councillors and anyone else interested, please come along, as your opinion counts.
JIMMY HILL Chairman Pimhole Residents Association
