IN REPLY to the letter about bad language in the park (Bury Times, September 21). I am sorry the person feels they won't be comfortable in Clarence Park again.
Most people know I have campaigned for it to be a pleasant place to visit. However, I cannot alter the ignorance of children, and question whether they fully understand the words they are using.
I would say just ignore these children who obviously don't know the joys of childhood. Why should you be deprived of pleasure just because of some ignorant, uneducated and ill-informed youths who represent the lack of discipline prevalent in today's society?
You must carry on visiting the park and ignore these rude children.
Enjoy the purpose-built park and hope the children will eventually learn some manners.
