A QUESTION Time event is being held tonight at Bury Town Hall in advance of World Mental Health Day.
Local residents and professionals are invited to the 7pm meeting to raise their concerns with a panel which will include councillors and officers, MPs Ivan Lewis and David Chaytor, and senior representatives from the NHS.
This year's theme is Building Awareness - Reducing Risk: Mental Illness & Suicide.
Previous topics have covered mental health within the workplace, women and mental health, children and mental health and the relationship between physical and mental health.
The project will continue tomorrow when social workers and charity Streetwise will have a stall in Bury's Mill Gate centre.
There will also be a market-style event in the Elizabethan Suite at Bury Town Hall on Tuesday, the date of World Mental Health Day, between 10am and 4.30pm.
Stalls will offer information, alternative therapies, makeovers and seminars.
