TWO people were cut from a car after a crash involving a police van in Ramsbottom.
There were two vehicles involved in the crash, one of which was a police van, with the other being a Toyota Yaris, a Greater Manchester Police spokesman confirmed.
The accident occured at the junction of Bolton Road West and Cunliffe Avenue at about 11.50am and required firefighters to use cutting equipment to free two people from the car.
Paramedics assessed the two passengers, who suffered minor injuries.
The police van is not believed to have had its lights and sirens on at the time of the crash.
