Youngsters heating aerosol cans have been blamed for load bangs heard in Palatine Drive
CONCERNED residents called out firefighters after hearing load bangs near their Bury homes this afternoon.
Youngsters are believed to have caused the noise by lighting aerosol cans on a small campfire in a near-by children’s park next to Palatine Drive.
A crew from Bury attended just after 5.45pm and reported seeing youngsters running away from the campfire.
Crews were in the area for around 15 minutes to put out the fire.
