AN Elvis-mad couple won't be lonesome tonight after tying the knot at Graceland.

Beverley and Dennis Williams, of Turks Road, travelled to Memphis for their dream wedding at the legendary home of 'the King' on September 23.

The pair, who have been together for 15 years, stayed at the famous Heartbreak Hotel and walked down the aisle to Elvis love song 'Pledging My Love'.

Beverley, aged 58, said: "We are both big Elvis fans, obviously, and Memphis just seemed like the perfect place for us to get married.

"We have been to Graceland before and can just spent days talking about Elvis and what our favourite songs and albums are.

"The whole experience was absolutely fabulous. We stayed at the Heartbreak Hotel and the chapel is in the grounds of Graceland, so after the ceremony we had our photo taken outside Elvis' house.

"Everything was just wonderful. We couldn't have asked for anything better."

Beverley also counts 'If I Can Dream' and 'American Trilogy' among her favourite Elvis tracks, while Dennis, aged 63, used to run the Lancashire Elvis Fan Club.

A small group of friends and family travelled with them to America for the wedding, but the couple also held a blessing at St Andrew's Church when they returned home and a reception for 130 people at the Bolholt Hotel in Walshaw.

Beverley and Dennis, who each have two children and two grandchildren between them, are already thinking of a return trip to Graceland.

Added Beverley: "We went on a tour of the house and a couple of days after the wedding we went to Tupelo, where Elvis was born, and saw his house and the chapel where he sang as a boy.

"We will definitely be going back again, hopefully on our anniversary if we can. It is a wonderful place and our wedding was just perfect."
