RESTAURANTS, bars, pubs and eateries are being encouraged to enter this year's Food Porn Awards.

Following a hugely successful launch last year the awards are back to find the North West's most tantalising dishes.

From Monday, when the awards open, people can showcase their finest culinary creations by sending pictures of their best-looking food.

Twelve finalists will be chosen by a select judging panel, who will then move through to the second round where they will have to recreate their dishes during a live cook off.

The general public are also being asked to get involved with the awards and upload their images to social media channels using #foodpornawards

The public images will form an online gallery to complement the main showcase of images from the awards.

Phil Marshall, STM managing director and curator of the Food Porn Awards, said: "Completely free to enter, the return of this year's Food Porn Awards will enable restaurants and bars across the region to showcase their culinary talent and work."
