SICK and needy animals in Radcliffe will be able to get treatment at an RSPCA mobile welfare clinic.

Low-cost veterinary services will be on offer for people on means-tested benefits or low incomes from 10am to 3pm on Wednesday, April 12.

With private vet checks costing between £25-30 on average and vaccinations setting pet owners back around £60, the mobile clinic charges just £10 for a health check and £18 for a health check and vaccination. Microchips will cost £5.

To use this service people must be in receipt of means tested benefits or on a low income and proof of this must be shown on the day. Prior appointment bookings are not needed.

The clinic will be at Wilton Arms pub in Coronation Road, Radcliffe.
