COMMUNITY based Corrie Gardeners held its very own Easter egg hunt at the weekend.
The Radcliffe group, which is made up of tenants and residents on Six Town housing estate, entertained up to 25 children, which included not just finding the Easter bunny, but also having a go at producing the best decorated egg.
Parents and children were also able to enjoy refreshments including drinks and hot cross buns.
Resident Tina Harrison said: “The event was a great success and thanks to Councillor Jamie Walker who judged the decorated egg competition and provided the funding for the Easter eggs.”
The Corrie Gardeners aim is to make the area into a better place to live by being both inclusive and democratic in working with their neighbours.
