RESIDENTS had to flee their home in Ramsbottom following a house fire.
Firefighters from Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall stations attended the house, in Ripon Hall Avenue, after the fire caused by "smoking materials" broke out.
The residents had a working smoke alarm, so had already left the house before the fire crews arrived, at about 8.30am this morning.
No-one was hurt, and the fire was contained to an upstairs bedroom, which sustained smoke damage.
