YOUNGSTERS at Springside Primary School in Bury have been enjoying a taste of the Orient while celebrating the Chinese New Year.
Pupils in the nursery section took part in a role play in a Chinese restaurant, a visit to Chinatown in Manchester to see the shops, discussion about the Chinese calendar, and Chinese dancing with a processional dragon.
The day ended with a Chinese banquet supplied by one of the parents, who owns the Pink Garlic restaurant in Rusholme.
