THIS fixture in National League North West Conference was always going to be difficult for the Blue Devils with three of their starting five players unavailable for the match.
Blue Devils were eight points down early in the first quarter before Matt Taylor intercepted a cross court pass and dribbled down court to execute a lay-up shot.
Bury stayed in contact at 12-6 but then lost momentum to lose the quarter 27-10.
The second, third and fourth quarters were really tough on the Blue Devils as Sefton pressed and stole the ball on numerous occasions to score.
The hosts also shot long range three pointers to win the periods 44-11, 37-10 and 33-12.
Only Matt Taylor and Sulaiman Qadeer showed some offensive threat throughout the game for the visitors scoring 12 and six points respectively.
