Bury Broncos Amateur Rugby League side’s under-7s begin their first North West Counties campaign with a home fixture against Wigan St Cuthbert’s on Sunday, March 2.
The newly-formed squad, who play at Philips High School in Whitefield, will play 31 matches during the season.
The first away game at Blackbrook Blues will take place on Sunday, March 9, and the Broncos will finish the season at home to West Bank on November 30.
The Broncos will face some of the big names from the world of amateur rugby league, including Thatto Heath Crusaders and Leigh Miners Rangers.
Games are initially scheduled to take place every Sunday with a 10.30am start, although this is subject to change.
Fixtures are not scheduled for Bank Holiday weekends, and there are no fixtures scheduled from late July to early September.
Established as a senior team in 2007, the Broncos are the only rugby league team playing in the Bury area.
The club runs teams at under-7s, under-9s and under-11s age groups and they are currently recruiting primary school age children.
