TOTTINGTON St John’s Cricket Club first team captain Simon Marsh is preparing for an exciting season in Division One of the North Manchester Cricket League.
“Last season we had to consolidate our position in the the division with unavailability of several key players to work and injury.
"This year might be similar, although we have a couple of younger players who have come through our junior ranks - Stephen Brooks and Danny Ashburner - who we hope will step up to senior cricket.
"This season is massively exciting for our club as we have women playing for the first time and their Sunday home games will be well supported by everyone at the club.
"Our under-11s will also feature girls and we are hopeful they will enjoy the start of their cricketing careers with Totty."
