DUO: Lawrence Boswell and Ella Thompstone
Bury ABC star Ella Thompstone travelled to Sheffield recently for England Youth trials.
Thompstone, who won an English national title earlier this year, was invited to train at the English Institute of Sport for the trials to represent her country at the upcoming European Youth Championships.
Meanwhile, Bury club-mate, Lawrence Boswell, competed in his first Skills bout at Ashton Masonic Hall.
The 11-year-old, who has been coached at Bury for the past 12 months, took on Azon Raja, of Samson Boxing Gym in Ashton, at 54kg.
