BURY’S world champion Andy Thrasher was in winning form at the MSA Muay Thai Boxing Premier League show in Manchester over the weekend.
Thrasher beat Hesdey van Assen (Holland) by a second round knockout after a powerful elbow sent the tough Dutchman crashing to the canvas with a cracked jaw.
“It was a good warm-up for my world title defence against Frankie Hudders on May 15 at the Reebok Stadium,” said Thrasher.
