SCOTT Quigg became the new British super-bantamweight champion with a sensational display at the Reebok.
The Bury star forced the experienced Jason Booth to retire at the end of the seventh round after a blistering performance on Saturday night.
Nottingham’s Booth, aged 33, has fought for European and World titles but was totally outclassed by Quigg.
The unbeaten 23-year-old has now stopped 16 of his 23 opponents inside the distance.
