Cabin End FC 2, Bury GSOB 8 Lancashire Amateur Cup Second Round.
BURY GSOB visited Blackburn Combination opponents Cabin End FC last Saturday and came away with a resounding win.
Spencer Woods opened the scoring after 15 minutes, firing a shot inside the near post from a through ball by Tom Croft.
A good move on the right-hand-side between Andy Myers, Adam Al Atar and Adam Evans led to a corner, which was headed home by Jamie Holt.
Cabin End rallied well and started to make inroads into the Bury defence and with only a minute left of the half, deservedly got a goal back.
Within five minutes of the re-start, David Bracegirdle shrugged off two challenges to find Adam Evans on the right, and his cross found Woods whose shot from eight yards didn't give the keeper a chance.
Two more goals in the next ten minutes by Andy Myers and Adam Evans effectively ended the tie.
Cabin did not give up and got a goal five minutes later.
Bury GSOB added to their total with goals from Woods, Al-Atar and Holt.
The GSOB's next match is away to Chaddertonians next Saturday in the Lancashire Amateur League.
