Elton Vale travelled to Salford Sports Village to play on the synthetic surface, seeking revenge for their only defeat of the season so far in Manchester League Division One.
From the start Beechfield came out flying with Vale struggling to win the ball in the midfield areas.
With only five minutes gone, a splitting ball left the Vale defence in disarray, the Beechfield forward shot low but the attempt was saved by Peake, unfortunately he was unable to hold it and the loose ball was tucked away on the follow up.
Vale started to created chances but found the Beechfield keeper in superb form, as he pulled off several top quality saves.
Vale finally got on the score sheet when Gardiner intercepted a scuffed pass by the Beechfield defence and struck a blistering left footed shot that flew past the Beechy keeper.
Vales second goal soon came when Gardiner pulled the ball back to Barlow on the edge of the box, Barlow grabbed Vale’s second goal, after as he drove the ball first time into the bottom left hand corner.
Beechfield created a number of chances but Gardiner settled Vale’s nerves when he pounced on Beechfield’s poor clearance kick to finish calmly and seal the win.
