Bury Juniors Under-14s will be reflecting on a fantastic season when they attend the Bolton and Bury Junior Football League Awards tomorrow and Bury Juniors presentation night on Sunday.
The team won 15 of their 20 matches, drawing three and losing just two, to win Division B of the league by six points from runners-up Horwich RMI Bullets. Under the leadership of manager Daz Taylor, the 16-strong squad have developed throughout the season and played football in the best possible spirit.
They ran out worthy winners having scored 68 goals and conceding just 25. The team are now looking forward to the new season when they will play in Division A for the first time.
