Brandlesholme Warriors JFC has had its commitment to developing youngsters recognised by the Football Association.
The club, which fields 17 teams from under-6s to u17s, has been awarded the FA Charter Standard, which acknowledges dedication to player and coach development and the raising of standards of behaviour in the game.
Secretary Marcus Hurst said: “The FA Charter Standard requires a real commitment from the club as it covers everything from administration through coaching, development and child protection.
“It means all our managers and coaches must have achieved as a minimum the FA Level 1 coaching qualification.”
