RADCLIFFE Borough’s relegation woes continued after a 6-0 drubbing by Cammel Laird at Stainton Park last Saturday.
Things started badly for Kevin Glendon’s side after James Mullineux scored an own goal and Jamie Henders’ penalty gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at the break.
Cammel racked up another four goals in the second half, with Freddie Potter, Daniel O'Brien, James Foley and Joseph Evans, all on target. Bevan Burey was also sent off for the hosts.
Boro did manage to gain a point from their Boxing Day clash with Burscough. But the 1-1 draw will have felt like two points dropped after Bradley Robinson put the Stainton Park outfit ahead in the 57th minutes, only for their relegation rivals to equalise three minutes from time.
