Ramsbottom United have appointed John Morrey as the club’s new goalkeeping coach ahead of their first season in the Premier Division of the Evo-Stik League.
Stockport-based Morrey, pictured, joins the Rams having enjoyed two successful seasons as joint-manager of NWCFL side Maine Road.
The south Manchester-based club finished fourth and second in the league during his reign.
Morrey enjoyed a playing career at Maine Road, Clitheroe and Great Harwood from 1986 to 2004.
Prior to his stint as joint-manager at Brantingham Road, Morrey served as goalkeeping coach with the Sky Blues between 2009 and 2012.

The free event, which will be held in the Corporate Lounge at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium, will start at 8pm.
