SCUNTHORPE United have asked supporters not to dress as squirrels when they come up against a Torquay side managed by their former boss Alan Knill.
Knill, who also played for and managed Bury, had a bad accident when he collided with a squirrel while cycling.
Ahead of his League Two return, Scunthorpe told a supporter who asked whether it would be okay to dress as a squirrel: “No you won’t be banned. However, the club would prefer it if you didn’t dress up in squirrel attire.”
